若者ネットスラング一覧(わかものネットスラングいちらん)

 

今日(きょう)はネット上(じょう)で若者(わかもの)に使(つか)われるスラングをご紹介(しょうかい)しましょう。

1. オワコン
意味(いみ): 「終(お)わったコンテンツ」の略(りゃく)。人気(にんき)や価値(かち)がなくなったものに対(たい)して使(つか)う。
例(れい): 「あのゲームもうオワコンじゃん」

2. ワンチャン
意味(いみ): 「ワンチャンス」の略(りゃく)。ひょっとしたら可能性(かのうせい)がある、という意味(いみ)。
例(れい): 「今日(きょう)ワンチャン会(あ)えるかも」

3. ガチ勢(ぜい)/エンジョイ勢(ぜい)
意味(いみ): ガチ勢(ぜい):本気(ほんき)で取(と)り組(く)む人(ひと)。エンジョイ勢(ぜい):楽(たの)しむことが目的(もくてき)の人(ひと)。
例(れい): 「あの人(ひと)はゲームのガチ勢(ぜい)だね」

4. 草(くさ)
意味(いみ): 笑(わら)いを表(あらわ)す「w」がたくさん並(なら)んだ様子(ようす)(wwwww)が草(くさ)に見(み)えることから。「笑(わら)う」の意味(いみ)。
例(れい): 「その動画(どうが)まじ草(くさ)」

5. リア充(じゅう)
意味(いみ): 「リアルが充実(じゅうじつ)している人(ひと)」の略(りゃく)。恋人(こいびと)や友人(ゆうじん)関係(かんけい)がうまくいっている人(ひと)を指(さ)す。
例(れい): 「あのカップルはリア充(じゅう)っぽい」

6. メンヘラ
意味(いみ): メンタルに不安(ふあん)を抱(かか)える人(ひと)を指(さ)すスラング。元々(もともと)は「メンタルヘルス」から。
例(れい): 「昨日(きのう)メンヘラっぽいツイートしちゃった」

7. 推(お)し
意味(いみ): アイドルやキャラクターなど、自分(じぶん)が一番(いちばん)応援(おうえん)している存在(そんざい)。
例(れい): 「推(お)しのライブが当選(とうせん)した!」

8. タピる
意味(いみ): タピオカミルクティーを飲(の)むこと。流行(りゅうこう)語(ご)になった。
例(れい): 「放課(ほうか)後(ご)タピりに行(い)こう」

9. ググる
意味(いみ): Googleで検索(けんさく)すること。今(いま)は定着(ていちゃく)して日常(にちじょう)語(ご)化(か)。
例(れい): 「わからなかったらググれば?」

10. チルい
意味(いみ): 英語(えいご)の “chill” から。落(お)ち着(つ)いていて心地(ここち)よい雰囲気(ふんいき)を表(あらわ)す。
例(れい): 「このカフェめっちゃチルい」

こうした言葉(ことば)は流行(りゅうこう)が早(はや)く、数(すう)年(ねん)で使(つか)われなくなるものも多(おお)いです。「オワコン」自体(じたい)も、実(じつ)はそろそろ“オワコン”扱(あつか)いされつつある言葉(ことば)です。

Today, let’s take a look at some slang terms commonly used by young people online..

1. Owakon (オワコン)
Meaning: A shortened form of "owatta contents" (ended content). Used for something that has lost its popularity or value.
Example: "That game is already 'owakon'."

2. Wanchan (ワンチャン)
Meaning: Short for "one chance." It means there's a possibility, however slim.
Example: "There’s 'wanchan' I might see you today.'

3. Gachi-zei (ガチ勢) / Enjoy-zei (エンジョイ勢)
Meaning: Gachi-zei: People who are very serious or "hardcore" about something. Enjoy-zei: People who do something just for fun.
Example: "He's a 'gachi-zei' when it comes to games."

4. Kusa (草)
Meaning: The Japanese character for grass (草) looks like many "w's" lined up (wwwww), which is used to represent laughter. It means "lol."
Example: "That video is so funny, ‘kusa’."

5. Riajuu (リア充)
Meaning: A shortened form of "riaru ga juujitsu shiteiru hito" (a person whose real life is fulfilling). It refers to someone who has a good partner or social relationship.
Example:“That couple looks like ' riajuu' .”

6. Menhera (メンヘラ)
Meaning: A slang term for someone who has mental health issues. It's originally from "mental health."
Example: "I made a 'menhera' post yesterday."

7. Oshi (推し)
Meaning: An idol, character, or person that you are a huge fan of and support the most.
Example: "I got my 'oshi's' concert ticket!"

8. Tapiru (タピる)
Meaning: To drink tapioca milk tea. This became a popular buzzword.
Example: "Let's go 'tapiru' after school."

9. Guguru (ググる)
Meaning: To search on Google. This has become so common it's now an everyday word.
Example: "If you don't know, just 'guguru' it."

10. Chirui (チルい)
Meaning: From the English word "chill." It describes a calm and cozy atmosphere.
Example: "This cafe is super 'chirui'."

These words come and go quickly, and many fall out of use in just a few years. Even “owakon” itself is ironically starting to be considered owakon.
