「出でる杭くいは打うたれる」は、日本にほんでよく言いわれる言葉ことばです。日本人にほんじんは協調きょうちょう・平均へいきん・調和ちょうわを大切たいせつにすると言いわれています。ですから一人ひとりが目立めだつことをすることは良よくないとされているのです。また日本にほんでは世論よろんが大切たいせつで個人こじんの意見いけんは多おおくの場合無視ばあいむしされてしまいます。

これは、日本人にほんじんの良よいところでもあり、悪わるいところでもあるのです。国際社会こくさいしゃかいでは多おおくの場合ばあい、大おおきな声こえを出だした方ほうがみんなに聞きいてもらえるという風潮ふうちょうがありますが、日本人にほんじんはこれができないのです。自分じぶんに不利ふりになることでも「自分じぶんが我慢がまんすればいいだけだ。」と黙だまり込こんでしまうのが日本人にほんじんの特徴とくちょうです。

我慢がまんすることが良よいとされるのが日本にほんの社会しゃかいなのです。ですから、相手あいてが気きに入いらなくても、なかなか何なにも言いってもらえません。相手あいてがどう思おもっているかを相手あいてに聞きくのではなく、自分じぶんで察さっすることが必要ひつようになります。「空気読くうきよめない」という言葉ことば、相手あいてを理解りかいしていないということなのです。

あなたは日本にほんに行いったら目立めだとうとするのではなく、周まわりと溶とけ込こむように努力どりょくする必要ひつようがあるかもしれません。目立めだつと「出でる杭くいは打うたれる」になってしまうかも。
